2. Is there a difference between Wong and Aimrite?
Aimrite Hawaii is a corporation that both Daryl Wong and Rick Bettua are the primary investment holders. Aimrite started out in life manufacturing speargun components to mainly support Daryl Wong Spearguns and within a few years decided to get into the "Railgun/Eurogun" design. This decision stemmed from an e-mail on a public forum that asked the question, "why can't an American Company build a railgun to American Standards?" That is when Aimrite's Railgun was designed.

3. How reliable is your trigger mechanism?
In 1998, Daryl and I spoke about designing our own trigger mechanism and our thoughts were to use an "injection molded high tech polymer." The reason being is we felt the repeatable accuracy of an injection molded housing far outweighed sand casting a stainless housing with follow-up machining to get it within specs.
To complement the polymer housing design, the investment-casted stainless steel trigger and sere serve as the backbone of the mechanism. Before being assembled into any Aimrite railgun, each mechanism is tested under hydraulics to withstand multiple firings under a minimum of 500 pounds of loading force. To this day, we have never had to warranty a trigger due to failure. And, with over FIVE THOUSAND triggers in service around the globe, we can confidently state our trigger mechanisms are THE most reliable.

4. How do you honor your lifetime warranty?
Warranties are handled professionally and without question. Simply ship
the broken part back to us and we will either repair or replace the part
free of charge. When a warranty problem arrives, all work stops at our shop
until the warranty is repaired and is boxed up ready to ship out, many times
in less than 24 hours! If a repair is not a manufacturer's defect or it
appears the gun has been abused or modified we will contact the owner to let
him know what the repair will cost before repairs are started.

5. How do Aimrite railguns compare to other euro-style spearguns?
Aimrite Spearguns are in the top of their class in power, accuracy, and reliability. When you add a Lifetime Warranty, a World Class tested Trigger Mechanism, a custom spring steel shaft by Rob Allen of South Africa, and the Strongest Carbon Fiber/Aluminum barrel available on the market, it no longer remains an apple-to-apple comparison. With all things considered, the fact that the Aimrite Railguns continue to take down world class gamefish by divers of all skill levels speaks for itself.
